Before this divine revelation, he was in deep meditation focusing on the question \u201cWho am I?\u201d which was given to him by Ananta, a self realized being who lives in Green Valley, Arizona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ananta is a disciple of Baba Muktananda, Gurumayi and Ramesh Balsekar. David met Ananta shortly after moving to Tucson in April of 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"289\" height=\"434\" src=\"https:\/\/selfrealizationmantra.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9\" srcset=\"https:\/\/selfrealizationmantra.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image-1.png 289w, https:\/\/selfrealizationmantra.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image-1-200x300.png 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 289px) 100vw, 289px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Ananta<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During one of Ananta\u2019s Satsangs (a spiritual discourse involving a short presentation or speech followed by Q&amp;A), David shared that he was having difficulty meditating and asked Ananta to recommend a mantra or a focus for his meditation.&nbsp; Ananta suggested that David contemplate the nature of his true self and focus on who he really is during meditation. \u201cWho are you?\u201d he asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>David followed this suggestion by using the question \u201cWho am I?\u201d as a mantra, saying it over and over for 4 1\/2 straight hours<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Who Am I?\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/YT6PwJ1o_LQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>and then he stopped and waited in silence for an answer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Spirit gave him the answer in the form of the first 2 lines of the Self Realization Mantra.&nbsp; Spirit moved on David, and as he spoke \u201cI Am Thee Iself. I Am Thee Allself.\u201d he heard the words \u201cIself\u201d and \u201cAllself\u201d for the first time. David began chanting these first 2 lines of the Self Realization Mantra over and over and had a combined Iself\/Allself awakening at around 2 PM on February 26th, 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The answer to the question \u201cWho am I?\u201d only makes sense in relationship to the question \u201cWhat am I?\u201d&nbsp; The answer to the question \u201cWhat am I?\u201d is consciousness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"420\" height=\"180\" src=\"https:\/\/selfrealizationmantra.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10\" srcset=\"https:\/\/selfrealizationmantra.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image-2.png 420w, https:\/\/selfrealizationmantra.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image-2-300x129.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 420px) 100vw, 420px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Consciousness has 4 distinct aspects, and these four aspects are the answer to the question \u201cWho am I?\u201d&nbsp; You are the Iself (unknown known), the Allself (known known), the Godself (known unknown), and the Noself (unknown unknown).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"894\" height=\"809\" src=\"https:\/\/selfrealizationmantra.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image-18.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-53\" srcset=\"https:\/\/selfrealizationmantra.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image-18.png 894w, https:\/\/selfrealizationmantra.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image-18-300x271.png 300w, https:\/\/selfrealizationmantra.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image-18-768x695.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 894px) 100vw, 894px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong><br>The Self Realization Mantra itself carries no doctrine.<br>All explanations are optional context, not required belief.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Two Easy To See Aspects of the Self<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What is the Iself?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the context of this mantra, the Iself is the individual focal point of conscious awareness \u2013 the unique perspective through which universal consciousness experiences itself as \u201cyou.\u201d The Iself has an ego but is not the ego. The ego is one of several structures \u2013 along with body, relationships, possessions, worldview, life story, and preferences \u2013 that the Iself uses to navigate individual experience. The ego operates as a fluid act of improvisation, constantly adapting, shifting, and reinventing itself based on circumstances, social contexts, and perceived needs. This is why your personality can feel different around family versus friends, or why your sense of self seems to evolve over time. The Iself, however, remains as the constant witnessing awareness throughout your entire life \u2013 the same \u2018I\u2019 that was aware when you were five years old is the same \u2018I\u2019 that\u2019s aware right now, regardless of how much your ego-personality has changed. The Iself is the deeper individual awareness that witnesses and experiences all of these aspects of personal identity, but remains distinct from them. While the Iself is not separate from universal consciousness, it represents a real and valid focal point through which consciousness experiences individuality. During your incarnation on this planet, the Iself serves as the constant witnessing awareness through which you experience life. The Iself itself remains stable and unchanging \u2013 it\u2019s the focal point of awareness that observes the ego\u2019s fluid improvisations without being affected by them. The Iself is the unknown known aspect of consciousness, also known as the Somethingness. Somethingness is the fundamental quality of being a distinct, particular entity that exists as a separate form rather than pure void or undifferentiated unity. Itness is the fundamental quality of existing as a distinct, individuated focal point of conscious awareness \u2013 the essential \u201cthisness\u201d or \u201cthatness\u201d that makes the Iself a particular something rather than nothing or everything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What is the Allself?<\/strong>&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the context of this mantra, the Allself is the universal self or cosmic consciousness. The Allself is everyone, everything, everywhere, and everywhen. The Allself is the cosmic consciousness that is busy being everybody doing everything, including being &#8220;you.&#8221; The Allself is the infinite web of interconnection binding all existence. The Allself is the realization that separation is an illusion. The Allself awakening naturally leads to compassion arising from experiencing yourself AS everyone and everything. The Allself is the deep knowing that what you do to another, you do to yourself. We are all connected to each other and to the singular field of consciousness that permeates all of creation. The Allself is the known known aspect of consciousness, also known as the Everythingness. Everythingness is the vast multiplicity of all that exists \u2013 every person, object, experience, and phenomenon that makes up the infinite diversity of manifest reality. I Am Thee Allself.\u201d were all that were revealed to David. On Friday, May 31st, 2019 at 9 PM, David was chanting the first 2 lines of the Self Realization Mantra, and then he stopped, and said, &#8220;God, is that all there is for me to realize, that I am an individual self and I&#8217;m everyone and everything?&#8221; The 3rd and 4th lines of this mantra, \u201cI Am Thee Godself. I Am Thee Noself.\u201d were then revealed to him. After 9 days of chanting the 4-line Self Realization Mantra for about 3 hours a day, David experienced his Godself and Noself awakenings on Sunday, June 9th, 2019, around 4 PM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Two Hard To See Aspects of the Self<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What is the Godself?<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Godself is the energy of the eternal or the divine.&nbsp; The Godself is the power of creation.&nbsp; The Godself is beyond comprehension and is both immanent and transcendent.&nbsp; The Godself is the spark of creation that I am\/we are. The Godself is the powers of manifestation and the flow of creativity.&nbsp; It is the divine warm light that makes anything possible. The Godself is unconditional love in its most natural state. The Godself is the known unknown aspect of consciousness, also known as the Beyondness. Beyondness is the infinite expanse that lies outside the boundaries of all known experience, form, and understanding \u2013 the limitless divine realm that cannot be reached through conceptual knowledge or direct experience. It is akin to the void.&nbsp; It has no sense of self at all and exists as pure potential.&nbsp; It is the \u201ccanvas\u201d upon which all of physicality is manifested.&nbsp; All of us have experienced embodiment of the Noself.&nbsp; Small children are born without a separate sense of self.&nbsp; During early childhood, children start to develop a \u201cself-concept,\u201d the attributes, abilities, attitudes, and values that they believe define them. Between 18 and 30 months, children have developed their Categorical Self, which is a concrete way of viewing themselves in terms of \u201cthis or that\u201d and \u201cme and mine\u201d labels. Before the development of a separate sense of self, small children lack subject\/object orientation in relation to themselves, and this is why most people do not have any significant memories of themselves as a small child. The Noself awakening is the conscious return to this pre-Iself state of selflessness &#8211; coming back to where we started, but now with full awareness.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"433\" height=\"595\" src=\"https:\/\/selfrealizationmantra.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image-23.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-149\" style=\"width:291px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/selfrealizationmantra.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image-23.png 433w, https:\/\/selfrealizationmantra.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image-23-218x300.png 218w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 433px) 100vw, 433px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\"> The Noself is the unknown unknown aspect of consciousness, also known as the \u201cgreat\u201d Nothingness. Nothingness is the complete absence of all forms, concepts, experiences, and identifications \u2013 the pure void that exists before, during, and after all manifestation without being diminished or changed by what appears within it. Emptiness is the spacious openness that is completely free of all forms, concepts, and identifications \u2013 the fertile nothingness from which all manifestation arises and to which it returns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"894\" height=\"853\" src=\"https:\/\/selfrealizationmantra.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image-11.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-19\" srcset=\"https:\/\/selfrealizationmantra.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image-11.png 894w, https:\/\/selfrealizationmantra.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image-11-300x286.png 300w, https:\/\/selfrealizationmantra.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image-11-768x733.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 894px) 100vw, 894px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The four aspects of the Self individually are nonsense, but in combination, they make perfect sense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I Am Thee Iself \u2013 Materialistic Nonsense<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I Am Thee Allself \u2013 Metaphysical Nonsense<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I Am Thee Godself \u2013 Supernatural Nonsense<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I Am Thee Noself&nbsp; \u2013 Absolute Nonsense<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-text-display has-x-large-font-size is-style-text-display--1\"><strong>Amness<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amness is the peak of self realization. Amness is pure beingness \u2014 not &#8220;pure&#8221; as opposed to impure, but beingness stripped of all characteristics. Amness is the primal ground of being. Amness is what remains when even the concept of existence dissolves. Amness is the ultimate &#8216;I&#8217; \u2013 not the individual I, but the fundamental awareness that says &#8216;I Am&#8217; before any quality is added. It can be understood as the sourceless source of all that is, including the four aspects of Self. Amness contains and transcends all dualities.  Amness gives rise to Being. He even created this Amness video in 2024:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-4-3 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"The Amness Mantra\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/sLrCa18G0yY?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>On Friday, August 8th, 2025, David was chanting the word &#8220;Amness&#8221; at 3 AM when he suddenly and unexpectedly experienced his Amness awakening. This was his final and most profound awakening. His perspective shifted from first person to a detached third-person perspective instantly.
