While it is not required to understand the underlying hierarchy in order to practice the mantra, it may be helpful to explore the fundamental layers of reality from which the mantra arises. This Hierarchy of Existence begins with the unmanifest source known as Amness, and progresses through Being, Consciousness, Awareness, and finally, Experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Hierarchy of Existence<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Amness<\/strong> \u2014 The unmanifest, sourceless source. Pure beingness that contains all possibilities and transcends all dualities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Being<\/strong> \u2014 The first manifestation of Amness. When the unmanifest becomes manifest.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Consciousness<\/strong> \u2014 Arises from Being. Consciousness is the field in which the four aspects of Self exist: Iself, Allself, Godself, and Noself.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Awareness<\/strong> \u2014 The directed attention or focal point within the field of consciousness.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Experience<\/strong> \u2014 That which arises from awareness.
