Grifficorn In The Flames

Grifficorn Sigil

Most people know the Griffin — the ancient hybrid of eagle and lion, a guardian between worlds. The Grifficorn is something different. It was born in fire on my 45th birthday.

On October 12th, 2012, I was sitting at a Japanese steakhouse when the chef built the classic onion volcano. As the flames erupted upward, I took a photo. What appeared in that fire would take years to fully reveal itself.

Within the flames, the head of a raptor appeared — curved beak, nostril, and a visible eye. Directly above it rose a unicorn horn. The face of a lion emerged from the right side of the creature’s body, showing an open mouth and a mane. When the image is turned upside down, a human head becomes clearly visible — with a distinct eye, nose, chin, and Adam’s apple. A bird shape rises from the top of the human head, with a narrow orange jet of energy angling upward to the right.

I do not believe this was coincidence. I believe this was my soul signature revealing itself in flame on my birthday.

Years later, this vision was fully realized in the Grifficorn sigil. One claw rests on stone, anchoring it to the earth. The other holds a flaming Blue Star — the radiant heart of the symbol. The surrounding elements of Air, Spirit, and Water complete the field. The flaming Blue Star represents the Self in its most concentrated awakened form.

The Grifficorn is more than a symbol. It is a mirror of my soul — the creature born from flame and rendered into full elemental form.
